Today we are launching Lynx Renovation & Extension, a new module of Lynx Copilot for people who want to renovate or extend the house they already have. It is in beta and works in the United Kingdom, Slovenia and Croatia.
Most renovations start with the same question: what will this actually cost? The module answers it line by line, before you commit to anything.
Five steps, one estimate
1. Start with your floor plan: take a photo of it, upload a PDF or draw it from scratch, or start from a matching template.
2. Set the scope: answer a few questions about how the house is built, then pick what changes, from the facade and roof to one room or the whole home.
3. Extend or demolish: plan the changes on the drawing, which walls are kept, which are demolished, which are new, and where an extension goes.
4. Visualise it (coming soon): see every room of your new home before work starts.
5. Get your estimate: an itemised feasibility estimate with a price range for every line, a construction timeline, and a check on whether you need planning permission and a structural engineer.

Next to the estimate you get before-and-after plans and a colour-coded 3D view. Existing parts that are kept are dark grey, demolished parts are yellow and new work is red, so the whole scope of the project is clear at a glance.
Because every line carries a price range rather than a single number, you can see where the uncertainty sits and compare options before you decide.
This is a feasibility estimate based on standard market rates, for planning and comparing options. It is not a quote: you get a quote only once you appoint a contractor.
One payment, up to three projects
Lynx Renovation & Extension is a one-off payment for up to 3 renovation or extension projects, and the price includes VAT. In the UK it costs £79, in Slovenia and Croatia 49 €.

Your account also gives you access to the LynxCraft platform, so the same project can move on to design, planning permission and construction when you are ready.
