Shaping the Future of Timber Construction – LynxCraft to Co-Organize Seminar for Architects and Designers

The Slovenian Ministry of Economy, Tourism and Sport has selected LynxCraft as co-organizer of a new professional seminar series focused on the design and construction of wooden public buildings. This collaboration underscores LynxCraft’s recognized expertise in modern timber systems and its position as a technological leader in construction innovation.

The first seminar will take place on June 18, 2025, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Ljubljana. Developed for architects and building designers, it will focus on structural design in timber architecture — covering architectural principlesstructural systems, and fire safety. A second session in autumn will follow with emphasis on building envelopes, covering wood protection, building physics, and acoustics.

The Ministry`s decision to partner with LynxCraft is a clear acknowledgement of the company`s  deep technical insight and its pioneering role in digitizing and streamlining construction workflows. LynxCraft`s involvement ensures not only top-tier content that reflects the real needs of today`s professionals, but also a non-biased approach to rational design of different building typologies, resulting in optimized time and budget.

The seminar will feature a strong lineup of industry experts, each presenting practical case studies rooted in real-world experience:

In addition to expert lectures, participants will benefit from networking breaks and a moderated lunch discussion — providing space for peer exchange and practical dialogue. The event is free of charge, but limited to 60 participants. Registration is open until June 11, 2025, or until all seats are filled. Attendees will earn professional development credit points through Chamber of Architecture and Spatial Planning of Slovenia (ZAPS) and Chamber of Engineers of Slovenia (IZS).

This initiative is part of a broader shift across Slovenia and Europe toward sustainable, low-carbon construction, where timber is becoming a core material in public building strategies. But as complexity increases, so does the demand for technical clarity. Events like this provide essential, up-to-date knowledge — supported by modern digital tools — to help professionals design and build with confidence.
