The role
We’re seeking an experienced Backend Data Scientist Developer who will:
- Lead Data Analysis: Process, analyze, and visualize data to extract actionable insights that enhance platform performance and user experience.
- Build Scalable Data Infrastructure: Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines and backend systems to support robust data analytics and machine learning applications.
- Translate Construction Physics Digitally: Work closely with experts to integrate specialized construction physics knowledge into digital algorithms and predictive analytics.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with architects, developers, and product managers to deliver impactful, data-driven features and tools.
Essential skills & experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in backend development with Python (FastAPI, Flask, or similar).
- Strong expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
- Demonstrable experience in data analytics, visualization, and preparing datasets for machine learning.
- Familiarity with cloud-based environments, especially AWS.
- Comfortable with modern CI/CD practices and Docker containerization.
Nice-to-have skills:
- Knowledge of workflow automation tools or AI agent orchestration like N8N.
- Experience with ML libraries like Tensor flow and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Interest or background in construction optimization, logistics, or related sectors.
